Everest for FAN
Our brave Everest team have returned after their 17 day mission to raise funds and awareness for Neuroblastoma. The team aimed to raise a total of £13,000 and have said they hope to smash that!
Stephen Deller was raising funds for Joshua's appeal, Kay Puddington was raising funds for Reece Puddingtons appeal, Steve Corp was raising funds for the Max Corp Memorial fund, and Dave Henshaw, who was raising funds for FAN in memory of his son Jack has decided to donate the money he raised to Joshua's appeal, as he is in urgent need of funding. All raised FANtastic awareness, and Kay's story of the trek is soon to be featured in Chat Magazine! Steve said "I want to go back, it was the most amazing experience and an honour to carry the Cure Neuroblastoma campaign flag". Dave said "I want to go higher! There was a beautiful mountain near by that I quite fancy having a go at summiting". All agreed it was well worth the challenge! The 2011 trek is set for October. Why not take a look at this years event on the facebook page and sign up for next years challenge! You could even enter our competition for December to win a £250 trek voucher to put towards your fundraising.
It's not too late to sponsor the team. Donations can still be made to any of the teams pages, or on our central page here www.bmycharity.com/FANeverest.

Ruby's parents raised £170,000 for lifesaving cancer treatment in America - then learnt the NHS could have treated her all along. Shockingly, it's a story being repeated across Britain...
