The following charities and organisations do many wonderful things over and above what is written about here, but we have selected the things that will be helpful to you. Most of these charities have been founded and are run by families who have had a child with Neuroblastoma. All do an admirable job and we thank them immensely. Any family that becomes a member of FAN can be nominated by us, or often by your Clicsargent worker, for any of the support, holidays and treats available. In some cases you can nominate yourself.

The Neuroblastoma Society
The Neuroblastoma Society has been running now for over 25 years. It is made up of mostly parents who have had a child with Neuroblastoma, and does a great job in raising funds for research into Neuroblastoma. The Society also produce a booklet for parents that is available from your Clicsargent worker, from us, or you can download a copy from their website.

Chelsea's Angels
Chelsea's Angels is run by one of our Memorial families in memory of their daughter Chelsea Knighton, who sadly lost her battle in 2009. The charity provides children with special treats and may also be able to help with funding for integrated therapies.

The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund
Founded by Thomas himself at the tender age of nine, and now run by his family since sadly loosing his fight to Neuroblastoma in 2003. The charity can provide you with a family holiday in one of TJ's cabin's and caravans in Hampshire. They also take a group of families to Euro Disney once a year.

Postpals is one of FAN's favourite charities. You create a profile for your child (and siblings) on their website and members of the public send letters and small gifts through the post. Its simple and very effective. Highly recommended by us.
Kids Integrated Cancer Treatment

Run by the family of Bobby Wright, Neuroblastoma survivor. KICT can help with advice on Organic diets, advice and provision of supplements, loan of supportive equipment such as a light box and sauna, and much more. Their knowledge is second to none and they are a source of information to FAN. We recommend a consultation with KICT as early in treatment as possible
